Biography: Rebel Wilson is an Australian actress, best known for her role as Fat Amy in the Pitch Perfect film series (2012-2017) for which role she won the MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance.

Her career began on Australian television, with the comedy series Pizza (2003-2007) and a sketch comedy show called The Wedge (2006-2007). These roles provided the basis for her to begin writing and producing, such as the series Bogan Pride (2008), and for her eventual move to the United States.

Since her breakthrough, Wilson has starred in films such as How to be Single (2016) and Jojo Rabbit (2019). She has also continued to work in television, writing a sitcom called Super Fun Night (2013) which aired for one season.
